County Matching Funds: Citrus County has NOT matched the Florida DEP grant for our septic-to-sewer conversion, despite this being customary in similar community projects. Residents are currently offered only $4,000 per household in assistance.
Leadership Update: Matthew Rasbury, Vice President of the Cambridge Greens of Citrus Hills POA, is seeking legal counsel, engaging professional grant writers, and pursuing every possible funding avenue—state, federal, private, and philanthropic—to bring greater attention and relief to this situation. Matthew is undertaking these efforts unilaterally and at his own expense at this time on behalf of the community. He is committed to working tirelessly for every resident to reduce costs, increase transparency, and secure assistance.
Public Records & Transparency: We have requested that Citrus County release public documents related to this project, including budgets, payments, and contractor information, to ensure full transparency and accountability per The Florida Sunshine Law (§ 286.011, F.S.)
